Melissa has Inspired Me!
My friend Melissa sent me her brand new blog today and she did a terrific job with it. It reminded me of how much I wanted this to be a FAB-O blog and so I am going to try and make a real go of this AGAIN. I (like Melissa) am so inspired by the many fantastic stampers whose blogs we follow. I want to be one of those bloggers who you just can't wait to see what I am going to post next. Being a Mom and working part-time outside the home does not make that an easy endeavor but I am willing to try.
My "real" job is not the happiest place for me anymore. I used to be real proud of working there and felt that I was a little (a lot) spoiled. I certainly dont feel that way anymore. I am pretty unhappy being there lately. Oh how I wish I could be home and invest more of my time in Stampin Up! and Sara Opal! Hopefully, in the future, that can become a reality!
Well I have a Children's team meeting tonight at church so I better log off of here. On my next post, I hope to add a picture. Of what, you say???? I don't know that yet!

Back Again...2 months later!
Well I keep waking up really early so I decided to try to work on this blog. I added a few elements but I can't figure out how to add a email link to it so people can just email me directly. I am certain it must be simple but I ain't gettin' it.
The last 2 months have been extremely busy and I know the next 3, 4, 5 will be as well. Christmas, W-2's etc.
Sara said something really awesome this weekend that I just have to share. We were talking about our friend Jamie going out of town for a gal's weekend and leaving her daughters and hubby behind. I told her that Mommy would be doing the same thing next weekend. (Scrapbook Retreat in Brown County-Can't Wait!) Anyway she said, "Mommy, when you Daddy and I are all together, I feel full!" Arent kids just the most awesome thing? I wish I could have a few more!(sigh!)

Convention-Talk about a WOW!
Well I just got back from my very first Stampin Up convention and it was unbelievable. I don't think there are enough adjectives in the world to describe how wonderful it was. I can't believe I did it! I left my baby girl for 5 nights. Of course she was fine with my DH. It wasn't cheap. I spent even more money while I was there. And with all the fabulous ideas that I came home with well I know I will be spending even more. Shhhh don't tell hubby! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity but I am so exhausted. Sara has wanted to play all day and I have not been much fun. We did watch a movie (Snow White) and went swimming in the pool.
Back to convention...I made some great new friends and I hope to be able to go back with them again. Our group consisted of 11 fun and fabulous ladies. One of them was Wendell's cousin and one of my favorite people on the planet, Denise. I actually got to know her because of the decor at Eric & Chevon's wedding. All SU of course. I was already in a group that involved my friend Marsha and when I signed up I felt obligated to sign up under Marsha. Marsha really doesnt do anything with it anymore but I got several of my fabulous stampin friends because of her so I am grateful. Howver there is always a part of me that wishes I was in Denise's downline. She is such an inspiration all of the time. I love to go to her house. She has the best basement ever. I am really just rambling because I am so tired so I may have to continue this post another day.

A Month To Remember
Well it has been well over a month since I was so gung ho to create this blog. It has been a SUPER busy month. I orchestrated a scrapbooking weekend with my good friend, Alice. Wendell, Sara and I went back to Disney World. I had a lovely Mother's Day, 2 great stamp club meetings and David Cook WON American Idol. SO deserving and he seems like such a super nice (and smart) guy. I ordered our AI tour tickets last Saturday and "Cookie" winning will just make it all that much sweeter. We are taking Sara. She has really been into it this season. Her favorite was Kristy Lee (or as she calls her "the girl that rides horses.") Sara is the cutest!! I wasn't as into Dancing with the Stars as I had been in the past. It seems my focus goes to one of the other and the large talent pool of AI definitely overshadowed the "C list" dance floor of DWTS.Our scrapbooking weekend in April was great. The hotel in Corydon was nice and we enjoyed the cute scrapbook store with the chatty (& young) owner. There were some credit card issues after the fact but they have been resolved. I think everyone had a great time and many got a lot done. I never do! I will never get Sara's books or our vacation books finished. We have already scheduled our next one for October in Brown County, Indiana. I let a couple of the other girls take the reigns on this one and they are doing a fine job.Disney World was better this time around. I think because there was no anticipation of what to expect. We stayed at the All Star Movies Resort this time and the only difference between it and the Pop Century was decor. It seemed like Wendell and I got along better too because I didn't feel like he was questioning everything that I had planned (and spent) and we could just be a family. It was a great week and we got to see more of the Parades and such. It will be quite a while before we go back. In the future, we would like to go to Disney Land (to see Sleeping Beauty's castle, of course) and maybe even a Disney Cruise. We should do something else rather than put more money in Mickey's pocket but we have to enjoy that magic as much as possible since Little Miss Miller is growing so fast.I really hope to be able to invest more time in this blog. Not just to update life's words but also to incorporate my love of stamping. There are several blogs that I subscribe to and these stampin ladies are phenomenal. They must not sleep.Well, I am hopeful we will open the pool today even though I wonder when it will be warm enough to actually swim. LOL! It is all our little fish can talk about is her pool! Please take a moment this weekend to remember those who have served our country.Blessings!

My Very First Blog
Well here it is! I have finally created a blog. I want my blog to be a coming together of all of the things that I love. I had the hardest time coming up with a name or title for it. I did not want it to focus on anything specific like Cassie Stamps or Sara is the Greatest Kid Ever even though both of those titles would be true. I wanted it to be special with a unique meaning. SO I decided on An Enchanted Daisy. That title encompasses several things. A Daisy is probably my very favorite flower. Enchanted refers not only to one of my new favorite movies of the same name but also the "Enchanted Daisy" is kind of a wink to the "Enchanted Rose" in Disney's Beauty and the Beast which is my ALL TIME favorite Disney movie. Daisy, in addition to the flower, is a nickname that Sara using her big imagination loves to call me. It comes out of the Wii game Mario Party 8 and is a character that I always choose as mine when we play. So that is for Sara. I don't know how much time I will have to devote to this blog but I am sure going to give it a shot. I hope to include some Stamped and Scrapped projects, some fun info, pictures of my family and friends and so on. If you are reading this now, thanks for checking out my blog. Come visit again!
